For those keeping score: Thus far, three flat tires, one rear tire from a tiny wire and two ( one front, one rear) from nasty little thorns called "goat's head". Today, just as I pulled up in front of this bike shop in Alpine, TX., I broke a spoke on the front wheel. John, the Bike Man, replaced the spoke for me with one out of his stock for a grand sum of $10.
I was wondering about how your bike was holding up but I didn’t want to jinx you by asking.
ReplyDeleteYep, I worried about the jinx, too. Today I found Jon's sweet carbon fiber machine has a crack in one of the seat stays. Suddenly, I don't feel so bad.
