It is done.

Yes!Yes! YES!!!!! 3045 times Yes!!!!!!!!! And I have company, too.

The finish on the beach was surreal. Family members watched us wander around lost in our thoughts. There were smiles. There were tears. There was disbelief and amazement. I don't think any of us could comprehend what we had done, where we had been, what we had seen, what it all meant.

I didn't even see my own special welcoming committee for several minutes.
I am standing in the shade, watching a drawbridge go up, reflecting on the last 50 days.

3000 miles r-r-i-i-g-g-g-h-h-h-t-t-t.....here! Are we there yet?

My brother-in-law asked me once if once I got to the east coast, would I, just like Forest Gump, realize I had run out of room to run, turn around and ride back. Today I saw these words painted on the pavement and it made me think of what Dr. Pete had asked.

Leaving Palatka headed for our last stop: St. Augustine.
